Teachers who are interested in becoming National Board Certified may qualify for prepayment assistance for a portion of the fees associated with the application process.  Funds are available, on a first-come-first-served basis, for new candidates, i.e., applying for the first time, as well as re-takes. At this time, this does not include renewal candidates.

A candidate must be a full time Georgia public school teacher with at least three years teaching experience and hold a current and clear-renewable Georgia Teaching Certificate.  For more information about prepayment assistance, please visit the Georgia Professional Standards Commission website at:
